The classic home shirt as worn by Kazuyoshi Miura when Verdy Kawasaki finished as champions of the J League in back to back seasons and were knocked out in the quarter finals of the 1993 Emperor’s Cup, losing 2-1 against Yokohama Flugels. Also worn when Verdy Kawasaki finished 3rd in the 1993-94 Asian Club Championship, beating Liaoning FC 4-1 in the third place play off after losing 3-1 on penalties against Thai Farmers Bank FC in the semi finals.
